EPIPHANY!! XD

I just had an epiphany!
I'm sitting here looking at some foals that, to me, don't look right.
One mother is a unicorn, the other mother is an alicorn. Of the two foals that I adopted from this pair, one is a alicorn, the other is a pegasus.
And I'm thinking, that can't be right, because both have horns, how can they have a baby with no horn? (Forgetting throw-back genes for a minute, because both pony's are first of their lines). They'd need an earth* gene to remove the horn...
Then I though 'Alicorn's HAVE earth pony genes!'   Other wise they'd be...wait for it...Pegacorns!'
I unno to me this makes sense. And Alicorn has the magic, and genes, of all three types of ponies. Al-icorn. A Pegacorn is just the melding of a unicorn and a pegasus.

I love this idea so much, because if you're afraid of having a 'Mary Sue' because you have a pony that has wings and a horn (and 'people' don't like over rated ponies and that there are so many Alicorns around) then you can just make it a pegacorn.
So next time you start to dis on someone that calls them Pegacorns, just think on this a moment.

*Yes, I realize now that the Pegasus gene would remove the horn, that didn't cross my mind during the time. That's just the thought process I used to come to the conclusion, and despite my errors whilst coming up with the final though (pegacorn versus alicorn) I still feel that my final conclusion make sense...if that makes sense
